Transportation Companies Mobilize in Efforts to Combat LA Fires

In the past week, most of us have seen the gut-wrenching images of the fires decimating the city of Los Angeles. It is absolutely heartbreaking to think of what all the people and animals are going through and our hearts are with them in these horrible times. Though it has not yet been confirmed what the origin of the deadly blaze is, it continues to rage on despite the heroic efforts being put forth by firefighters and other first responders.

In times of tragedy, it is always heartwarming to see the community coming together to support one another. The company Warp has partnered with the Los Angeles Fire Department, LAPD as well as the County Sheriff’s Department in order to help ensure everyone in the area has emergency supplies. They are helping to distribute items such as diapers, sanitary products, baby food, water, and insulin, among others.

The company is assisting by contributing transport for the items as well as warehousing space to store any surplus. To see members of our industry banding together to help residents in tumultuous times such as these shows the multi-faceted uses of the transport industry.
