Transport Center

Hi,

I have been working on Transport Center Configuration and managed to make it work for couple of clients on cut-overs. During cut-overs I observed few points or one can call the pain areas on which I need insight from my connections consulting for SF-EC. I am only concerned about the important points here rest can be sorted out via other utilities provided by SF.

1. It doesn't support Picklist which is fine as far as we have import and export data
2. It doesn't support Dynamic/Workflow Groups which was supported by Instance Sync very well.
3. If data is huge for Org/Pay/MDF even if client has bulk of permission groups or event reasons etc it doesn't let you search like we used to do via instance sync.
4. If data is huge and one want to move all data but there is no option to select all.
5. User can limit the options by modified filter but it's useless if all data need to be moved just like we used to do via instance sync

Now issue is that SF has placed a message:

Starting 2H 2024, the Instance Synchronization Tool will no longer be available for productive use. We recommend that you start using Configuration Transport Center for your business scenario.

I am not sure whether SAP will address the issues before closing Instance Sync or we will have to look for way out.

If anyone have any clue or information please share.
