Transped Successfully Completes Transformer Transport from China to Spain

Transped has successfully transported transformers and their accessories from China to Spain, showcasing its capability to handle complex shipments. The total cargo, weighing 275 tons, was shipped on a heavy lift break bulk vessel to the port of Algeciras. Each transformer had dimensions of 7.04m x 2.93m x 4.1m.

Once in Algeciras, special platform trucks and low bed trailers were used for the larger parts, along with 8 special trucks and 9 tautliners for the smaller accessories. A crane was positioned at the importer’s facilities to ensure the correct unloading of the packages.

Thanks to the coordination between the Transped team, the customs broker, the terminal, and the carrier, the shipment was successfully completed, delivering all components to the consignee’s site. This project highlights Transped's ability to manage complex logistical operations and its commitment to excellence.
