Translation Memory Enhancements, Dark Mode, Non-translatable Lists, and More
Track machine-translated text in the Translation Memory editor
Have you experienced any slow localization days in August or July?
Whether yay or nay, it’s beneficial to occasionally tidy up your translation memory (TM) to keep it in good shape.
One common source that can mess up the TM is unchecked machine-translated text.
You can now easily identify which strings in your translation memory come from machine translation in the Translation Memory editor.
Additionally, you can also check whether the text was subsequently edited by a translator and to what extent, to assess the quality of the machine-translation provider in your case.
Head over to Localization settings to manage your translation memories and access the TM editor where you can filter out machine-translated strings by their similarity to the edited text.

Eliminate this issue for good with the new Non-translatable Lists.
Available under Localization settings, these lists allow you to define names, abbreviations, and other expressions in your projects that you don’t want to translate.
Whenever a non-translatable term is detected in a cell in a Grid, it will be highlighted in dark gray and clearly listed for everyone to easily spot.
Save time by duplicating automations into any branches within your Grid
Automations are a fundamental part of Gridly, allowing you to translate, analyze, enrich, or generate new content. However, once you have them in place, setting them up in all branches of your Grids might be time-consuming.
That’s not the case anymore. You can now duplicate automations into any branch within your Grid with just a few clicks. Find the option to duplicate automations in the side panel, where you can also easily reorder them with drag-and-drop.
