Translating URL Handles With Shopify
Shopify has finally released the ability to translate URL handles, this (in my opinion) really finishes off the whole translation offering from Shopify. As now, in effect, you can now translate every piece of data stored against a product (or other templates such as collection, blog etc).
Localising URLs is incredibly important; firstly for the users experinece on the website, it gives better trust and creditbility that your site is considering them as important as your primary region, but secondly it will also give you a significant SEO boost in that language as well.
I’ve recorded a quick video running through the functionality, covering:

Hello Nick. Translating URLs is a good feature, but it is a big headache when you implement hreflang tags manually. Do you know how to call a translated URL in a theme since the old way shop/handle, shop/de/handle doesn't work anymore, and it creates a technical mess?
