Transitions at Civic Elevator
Today is my last day as CEO of Civic Elevator. I remain a minority shareholder in the company and I'm deeply invested in the success of our product lines--? the Civic Site Service ERP and UpVate compliance tools.
Over the last four and a half years I've worked with hundreds of customers in dozens of elevator parts & service operations to understand their needs. I've been able to bring my practice around ethnographic management consulting to a part of the tech industry that rarely gets the benefits of deep user research and holistic views of how tech affects our lives.
I’m stoked about the digitization of industrial businesses and I’m wide-open to hearing from anyone & everyone who’s into that as well. For all of my colleagues in civictech, govtech, journalism, philanthropy, and all of the other industries I’ve worked in over my career— would love to hear from you as well!
Meanwhile, I’m looking forward to finishing “Spots & Methods in Arte Agora”, the follow-up to the Arte Agora book I published with Shawn-Laree O’Neil. More to come.
