TRANSITIONING FROM THE GROWTH ADVOCATE TO THE CATHOLIC CURATOR NEWSLETTTER
Joseph Valentic
Servant leader, Strategist, Teacher, Speaker and Author, helping people and businesses to achieve their true God given potential.
Happy New Year! As we begin the new year, I am very pleased to share that I am transitioning my Growth Advocate newsletter to a new name, with new and improved content, but still aimed at helping people to truly grow and become the fullness of who they can be in their business lives. Towards the end of last year, I shared the post below that provides some great background on the genesis of this transition.
I would like to thank everyone that has followed me in this newsletter thus far. I promise to continue to provide high value content to help you on your journey, wherever the road may take you. I would also like to say thank you to everyone that supported me following the post below. The response was overwhelming and humbling! I thank you for confirming and supporting the transitions.
Look for my next newsletter coming soon. I pray that together we can make 2025 the best year ever for our careers and our businesses! God bless!
PRIOR POST - MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR JOSEPH VALENTIC
Over much of my career I have actively sought to integrate my faith and my business, as well as, all the gifts that I have been given, to help people and organizations to grow and succeed.?Through this journey, I have continually tried to discern what God’s will is for my life.?This discernment has led me to some very unexpected but very exciting developments that are allowing me to truly integrate my personal gifts, 33+ years of business experience, and my faith, to help serve others in new and exciting ways. I am pleased to share two major announcements. The first is the launch the Catholic Curator, a platform I have created to be able to share more widely all that I have learned and continue to learn about integrating faith and business to help people and businesses to become the best they can be.? As part of this platform, I have also published my first book on prayer, and I have a second book coming in 2025. ?While this platform will be an ongoing part of my life and business, I am still directly serving businesses, which leads to my second announcement.
The second major announcement is that I have accepted a position as the Chief Financial Officer of ?Cornerstone Education Group.?Cornerstone is a mission-based organization that runs charter schools serving the inner-city of Detroit.?The school’s mission is to prepare its students to live the Complete Life, a virtuous life, a life of excellence, in the unfolding of the American Promise.?The phrase Complete Life refers to Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s teaching that a Complete Life is a life of Length, which is to live for a purpose born, a life of Breadth, which is to be a person for others, and life of Height, which is to know God. ?We are currently serving more than 3,000 children across 6 campuses in Detroit from kindergarten through high school to live a Complete Life. ?In addition to my role as I CFO, I am working with the executive team on strategic planning and corporate development to help create long term sustainability for our mission.
I look forward to continuing my collaborations, communications and relationship building through this platform and beyond. God bless! The new image you see on my profile is of the doors of St. Patrick's Cathedral opening up to the business district. I thought it was a great representation of the hope and potential that exists when we integrate faith and business.
