Transition Plan - Not a Taxation Strategy

Transition Plan - Not a Taxation Strategy

When will Trudeau’s inflation objectives be met with his Carbon Taxation Strategy? It's not reducing our Carbon emissions. We are presently experiencing the reality of surging energy prices, does our PM have concerns about people heating their homes this winter? can the people of our economy trust Trudeau and be confident that if the prices for energy get too high, he will rescind his Carbon Tax, right? A Carbon Tax is not an energy transition plan, Fossil fuels decline between 20-40% each year, they require ongoing long term investment plans, developed nations have benefited from cheap energy to build their economies. Will the Europeans, Biden, Trudeau, China, India, Germany, line up their strategies with Putin and OPEC asking them to reduce energy prices, and come to their energy crisis rescue? These higher prices are really getting in the way of their Carbon Taxation strategies and illustrate only a taxation plan exists for energy transition. Their plan is to rob the energy producers, and expect compliance from OPEC, Russia, and oil producing nations to go along with their scheme to make energy so expensive with taxation that people will have no choice and be forced to embrace alternate unproven, and unreliable energy sources. People in Germany have witnessed this firsthand; reliable energy requirements have resulted in companies and individuals constructing private energy generation grid alternatives. Perhaps these nations think that the energy producer of the world should not only stabilized the markets for them, and insure abundant cheap energy exists, but they should also allow them to fund their transition strategies on the backs of OPEC and oil producing nations and their economies. I expect developing nations and energy producers have a different view how energy transition should take place. A constructive dialogue is required that includes the energy producers and puts in place a plan that pushes aside political aspirations so that the world doesn’t find itself in a mess, stumbling along from one energy crisis to the next. There should be a pathway for energy transition that we all pursue together with current energy producers.?
