We’re excited to announce a new (free!) handbook to help communities proactively build population-level mental wellness and transformational resilience for climate change-related toxic stresses, emergencies, disasters, and the harmful individual and collective traumas they can generate. While originally intended to support those going through the Climate CoP, some learnings can support communities at various stages of organizing.
Co-created with the International Transformational Resilience Coalition and Trauma Informed Oregon, it addresses the urgent need for a public health approach, provides actionable strategies, and explains how local leaders, civic groups, and organizations can build and support more resilient communities.
The new(-ish) year is also a great time to build, audit, or update your communications plan to support trauma-informed approaches at various levels. From expanding your reach and engagement to sharpening your message and tactics, our February CTIPP CAN call will provide a step-by-step roadmap to maximize your time, reach, and impact.
