How to Build Effective Leadership Development

It is becoming all too common for toxic workplace culture to be the driving factor of “the Great Resignation.” Having effective leadership development can entirely shift the culture of the workplace, but how can your company create effective leaders?


Here are four elements you can’t ignore:

  1. Use data to diagnose your own current state. What behaviors are most observed among leaders?
  2. Knowing isn’t doing. When you know better, you can choose to do better.
  3. When everything is important, nothing is. The more we try to achieve, the less likely our success becomes.
  4. If you can’t measure it, it doesn’t exist. Measuring observable behaviors is the only way to verify impact.
