Transforming Spaces: Capturing the Elegance of DZN Home’s Modern Designs

Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph two beautifully designed homes by DZN Home, a local Greenville interior design studio known for their clean, modern aesthetic. Let me just say, these weren’t just houses—they were experiences. Every room was thoughtfully styled, from the furniture to the smallest decor details, and it was clear how much heart DZN Home poured into these projects.

One of the homes had these gorgeous, dark-colored walls. While it made the space feel rich and dramatic, it also created a challenge—getting the lighting just right to bring out the textures without losing the warmth of the design. I leaned into every lighting trick I’ve got to make sure the photos captured the true character of the space, and I’m really proud of how they turned out.

DZN Home didn’t just design the homes—they staged them, too. Little details like layered throws, perfectly placed vases, and unique art pieces brought everything together. Those finishing touches really brought life to the photos and showed how intentional their work is.

The images are now featured on their website and social media, and seeing them use the photos for their marketing has been one of the best parts of this project. It’s a great reminder of why I love working with designers. Photography isn’t just about taking pretty pictures—it’s about helping businesses grow, connect with their audience, and show the world what makes them unique.
