Transforming Healthcare Delivery with AI

It was a great session on Friday evening by the MD & CEO, Girish Krishnamurthy, on a very relevant topic to many of us in the audience. It was quite insightful to hear him talk about the journey of how Healthcare has adopted technology, albeit slowly, starting with the Digital Nerve Centre and moving into adopting AI. His key message was that Healthcare Services does not blindly adopt technology for technology's sake but is prudent to adopt what is relevant and useful in aiding the medical personnel.?

The AIIMS case study articulated by Girish, defined the human side of the man as well as the organization he runs. It proved that it was not just about a business model or being a corporate entity, but he has the heart to deliver such selfless service to the community – that came out clearly in this narrative of the OPD transformation of AIIMS case study. Hats off to him and his team which had made it happen!

The response to the session was also excellent! Yes, there were more questions than answers as the queries from Dinanath Kholkar , Prabhat Mittra , Hasit Kaji , Rangarajan (Ranga) Sriraman and many others in the audience seem to indicate on this topic but it is to the credit of Girish Krishnamurthy , that he definitely left us with a hope of a better future in the Healthcare world driven by AI and other technologies. The audience to the session should have left with a feeling of a Friday evening well spent.

Like Maha said in his closing remarks, this prompts us to think about having some follow up sessions on this topic, deep diving into certain topics relevant to rural and urban communities.
