I recently wrote an article for Harvard Business Review where I share the lessons I learned about how to lead an organization through massive changes – in GE’s case, this included revamping our strategy, portfolio, global footprint, workforce and culture. All the major initiatives we implemented during my tenure as CEO were aimed at making GE one of the 21st century’s most valuable technology-driven industrial companies. Today, I love where the company is positioned and believe it is ready for any future.

7 年With a lot of respect to GE, the one thing Jeff immelt went wrong is with succession planning. He should have tackled the activist investors better. New generation, new business challenges etc.. And that makes all the difference in my opinion.
