Transforming CAD to Manufacturing Workflows: Christina Rebel takes the helm at Wikifactory
Wikifactory
Launch products faster with engineering data management, live design reviews, and integrated manufacturing services
Wikifactory stands at an exciting juncture in our journey. Founded on the vision of enabling anyone, anywhere, to create physical products with just a laptop and an internet connection, we have now brought this vision to life.
As we shift our focus towards enhancing our product for commercial growth, Nicolai Peitersen, co-founder, CEO, and board director, has chosen to step aside, making way for new leadership to steer the next stage for the Company.
Nicolai shares,
“I’m immensely proud of what we’ve achieved so far. When my co-author and I envisioned in our book, The Ethical Economy, how the production industry would become disrupted in the future, I had not imagined more than 10 years later to have with my co-founders sparked and driven that disruption. It is now time for a new team to take it to the next level for the next 10 years”.
Stepping into the role of CEO, Wikifactory has appointed co-founder Christina Rebel to lead the next chapter. Christina’s deep understanding of our mission and our market, having been involved in every aspect of the Company’s journey, positions her perfectly to drive the Company forward.
Christina shares,
“As we advance Wikifactory's mission in 2024, our focus sharpens on the next frontier of CAD to manufacturing. By seamlessly integrating real-time CAD reviews, product data management (PDM) and on-demand manufacturing, we eliminate barriers and supercharge productivity by facilitating real-time collaboration and reducing time-to-market without the need for costly or complex setups.
This positions Wikifactory as an essential collaboration layer for engineers, from SMEs to large enterprises, looking for a lightweight, agile solution or a plug-and-play system to bring their wider team and supply chains in sync. I'm committed to ensuring Wikifactory remains a catalyst for change, empowering creators, engineers, and hardware innovators everywhere to achieve the extraordinary.”
Wikifactory is the collaboration platform for more than 150,000 product developers across 190 countries, developing more than 20,000 product innovations, ranging from space rockets, racing cars, industrial robots, to consumer goods. Wikifactory’s CAD Rooms unifies teams in real-time, streamlines design-to-production workflows, and accelerates time-to-market.
As we embark on this transformative journey to redefine collaboration from CAD to manufacturing, the road ahead is filled with potential for groundbreaking advancements, and we are eager to share each milestone with our community.
