Dallas is a great example - instead of using the open lots for manufactured homes with architecture that compliments the surrounding homes and are an affordable housing solution, those lots are being used to build high-density housing that takes away from the charm of these older neighborhoods. We are also dealing with ADUs currently not being allowed. When you use a factory-built ADU it can be put onsite in a day or two without disrupting the entire neighborhood. Another affordable solution to the housing crisis that politics is preventing from being available.
