Hi,
As you know, a presentation doesn't just convey information.
It also allows you to create strong connections with your audience.?
You achieve this not only through your content but also the language you use.
So today, let me share the importance of shifting your language.
Why?
Because the reality is that speakers tend to focus on themselves in their presentations.
They forget that everything they say needs to be about their audience.
Now, take a moment to think about your language patterns.?
Maybe you're also accustomed to using "I", “our” and "we" expressions.
Imagine shifting to "you" and "your" language.?
It's a small tweak, right?
But it works wonders.?
Because instead of merely talking about yourself in the presentation…
You now invite your audience to participate and envision your message.
Example…
Let’s say you’re a business development manager who works for a car company.
And you’re about to deliver a presentation to your sales team.
Instead of saying "I experienced," you say…
"Imagine you're a young boy, embarking on a journey."?
Your sales team gets transported into your story…?
And the story becomes their own.
Then, as your narrative unfolds, consider framing questions into your message.?
For instance, you can say something like:
"You might be wondering what lies ahead in the automotive industry. But if you cast your minds back a century, how far have we already come?"?
As you can see, shifting from “I” to “you” language is more impactful.

It lets you form a connection with your audience during your presentation.
So, consider reshaping your content with this lens in mind.
Every transition, every story, every concept—all woven with "you" and "your."?
The effect??
An audience that's not just engaged but invested in your message.
But I’ll be honest…
When you make this linguistic shift, the pace of your speech may adjust.
You may even find it awkward at first.
But don’t worry, it’s something you can work on.
And I can help with that.
So, if you’re ready to explore your language and presentation techniques…
