In 2016, I found myself standing at a crossroads, unaware that a remarkable individual would soon change the trajectory of my career forever. Her name is Tsholo Udeazi, my former line manager at the Nelspruit Campus, where I began a six-month contract assisting with administrative tasks. She taught me how to manage suppliers, check and receive equipment inventory, and navigate the complexities of project management. I became adept at incident reporting and the intricate dance of ordering and administrating resources. Her investment in my growth enabled me to support other campuses she managed remotely, including Nelspruit, Middleburg, Polokwane, and Rustenburg Mini Campuses. I transformed into her right hand, a reliable problem solver making sure everything ran like a well-oiled machine.
