Countries change when people in them change!
This is an article on an event, that will be taking place in Paraguay between January 30 and February 4th 2016, called Transformacion Paraguay.
Starting this week, over 230 John Maxwell coaches from over 15 countries along with me and my mentors John C Maxwell, Paul Martinelli, Scott M Fay, Christian Simpson, Ed DeCosta, Roddy Galbraith, and Melissa West are heading to #Asuncion (capital of #Paraguay) for a historic event called Transformación Paraguay. Transformación Paraguay is a social transformation initiative led by leadership expert John C Maxwell and his "John Maxwell Leadership Foundation". It is a personal transformation movement on a national scale and aims to provide training in leadership principles and values covering seven pillars of society, namely:
- Government,
- Media Communication,
- Business,
- Arts
- Culture,
- Religion and
- Family
The training is offered at no cost to locals and aims at reaching out to 10% of the national population, hence the number of 700,000 participants. Paraguay transformation carries the slogan “La transformacion esta en mi†means transformation begins within me and believes that the power to change and improve is within each one of us. The basic belief being that if one changes, the world changes.

700,000 trained Paraguayan leaders will become the turning point for a tangible positive change in Paraguay.
During the week the coaches will be working with the local leaders along with the interpreters teaching them the process of Transformational Leadership.
