She then sets some specific and measurable goals for herself and her team. She also creates a plan of action for how she will achieve those goals.
Whenever she faces a situation where she needs to take action, such as assigning a task, giving feedback, resolving a problem, or making a decision, she uses the 5-second rule to overcome her resistance and her doubts. She counts backward from 5 to 1 and then does what she needs to do without delay.
