Trust is something that is very difficult to find and being known as trustworthy is even harder. Integrity and trustworthiness are things you earn over a long period of time by a series of repeated actions.
Putting people first and understanding their needs then properly communicating it to my team to create a result where everyone involved reaches their goals is how I establish this covenant.
The key to the transfer of trust metaphor is to understand from the other party's perspective that this is a difficult thing to do. I often ask myself how many times have I had to transfer or relinquish trust over....it is not easy. For someone to give me that level of trust is a privilege and I never take it for granted or take advantage of it.
