Transfer Order & Transfer Journal in D365 F&O
Both names looks similar, However there are slight difference in both forms.
The primary difference between a transfer order and a transfer journal lies in the level of detail and functionality. A transfer order provides more comprehensive tracking capabilities and allows you to print shipment labels and delivery notes. Whereas Transfer Journal allows you to transfer items between inventory locations, batches, Product variants without affecting the costs associated with the transaction. In the other hand, Transfer orders are mainly using if your organization has multiple warehouse or store, and you want to move inventory between those stores.
