Transcend's Employee of the Week: Katy Kouvaris

Katy Kouvaris has been a Marketing Specialist at Transcend for 1 year and 6 months. She began at Transcend in 2023 as a Social Media Coordinator and has since progressed to be a Marketing Specialist. Her primary responsibilities include email marketing, paid ad campaigns, graphic design, overseeing social media presence, working with affiliates, and much more. We asked Katy:

What are your favorite aspects of the job?

Katy's main passions revolve around extending Transcend's presence through multimedia advertisements. "I love finding different ways to advertise our company, whether a static ad, video, email, etc. Just trying to find what gives us success!"

What are some of your interests and hobbies?

Katy competes regularly with her horse, Sully, at rated shows all over the Midwest.

"I also love art history, and I like that I can tie in how trends always make comebacks and blend that into my position."

What is the most challenging part of your job?

"The most challenging part which is one of my favorite parts of my job is multitasking. I love having my hands on multiple projects at once and making the company better."

What advice would you give to be successful in your current role?

Katy emphasizes the importance of communication in her position as a Marketing Specialist. "Don't be afraid to ask questions! Communication is the most important part of creating success!"
