Transblue Receives Corporate Citizenship Award for Outstanding Community Impact

Transblue has been honored with the prestigious Corporate Citizenship Award in the small company category for the second year in a row! This recognition acknowledges Transblue's unwavering commitment to making a positive difference in our community.

Other top giving organizations include Amazon, Microsoft, Boeing, Albertsons, JP Morgan Chase, Costco Wholesale, First Fed Bank, HomeStreet, and more.

The Corporate Citizenship Award, presented by Puget Sound Business Journal (PSBJ), serves as a touchstone event that celebrates and acknowledges the significant contributions businesses make to a wide range of community causes. PSBJ meticulously tallies the philanthropic giving of the top 25 small, medium, and large-sized companies, revealing the rankings during the event on Thursday and subsequently publishing them in the Friday edition of Puget Sound Business Journal.

Transblue was the top business in the small business category giving $323,789. According to PSBJ, "Small companies are those with revenues below $20 million. Corporate and foundation cash giving in Washington and globally does not include the value of in-kind gifts, sponsorships, or employee contributions".

At Transblue, our commitment to philanthropy goes beyond words; it is ingrained in our core values and drives our day-to-day operations. Our mission is to change the world, and here are a few organizations Transblue is supporting:

mBridge

The partners at mBridge bring a deep understanding of both the for-profit businesses and the nonprofit sectors together with extensive experience working with missions organizations around the world. mBridge works closely with both mission workers and those interested in missional causes that will have the greatest impact. The desire to “give back” and make a difference in the lives of others is one of the driving forces, and mBridge believes in changing the world with the Gospel both in word and in deeds.

Dawson Place

Located in Everett, Washington, Dawson Place Child Advocacy Center offers services needed for children who are victims of physical and sexual abuse, assault, or neglect. Their model minimizes the number of times a child has to tell their story by bringing each professional needed for a case into one building to reduce the trauma.

Next Step Pregnancy

Located in Lynnwood, Washington, Next Step Pregnancy Services is a medical clinic that specializes in unplanned pregnancy resources and referrals, supporting expectant parents and newborns through counseling, medical care, and basic needs. Next Step is there to help encourage and support young families.

Dee's Hope

Located in Kampala, Uganda, Dee, founder of Dee's Hope, was a house girl and understands how girls are abused and trapped in domestic servitude (soft slavery), often being abused physically and sexually. Dee is motivated to rescue house girls in Uganda, and 17 girls and counting have been rescued and provided an education thus far!

Solid Rock Mission

Located in Southern & Eastern Ukraine, Solid Rock Mission reaches into rural and war-torn regions, where the Russian Orthodox Church is firmly established but has been ineffective in ministering to the younger generation. Children and youth are often victims of abuse or politically radicalized, but Solid Rock Mission has built a mission school and discipleship center that is expanding throughout the region through camps and retreats reaching this young generation for Christ.

Want to join Transblue in changing the world? We are currently matching the next 10 sponsorships given to the International Deaf Education Association, Philippines. They are working to educate impoverished and neglected deaf children in the Philippines, and attend IDEA supported special education classes on the islands of Bohol and Leyte. You can read more about the children waiting to join IDEA Philippines here.

To take advantage of our matching donation, donate a recurring monthly donation of $45 to the IDEA cause on the mBridge website. Let us know in the comments or feedback section if there is a specific child from the IDEA Philippines page you would like to sponsor!
