Trampoline !!!

Just imagine your 11-year-old self, sees someone jumping on a trampoline. Wouldn’t you also want to go immediately join them? Actually forget an 11-year-old me, even now when I see a trampoline I can’t resist but to go jump on it.

This was back in early 2010 when my younger brother started going for gymnastic lessons at the LB Stadium, in Hyderabad. The first few days I accompanied him to class but used to wait outside. On either side of the door were little windows from where the parents would peek through to watch their children practice gymnastics, as they were not allowed to go in during the classes. It was through these small windows that I one day saw my brother jumping on a trampoline. And like any logical 11-year old I made up my mind to go jump on the trampoline, and not just any trampoline but this one specifically at the stadium.

Over the next few days, I made it my mission to drive my mother crazy until she finally had no choice but to send me for the classes too. At first, the coach was a little hesitant to take me as I was considered to be a little old to start gymnastics for the first time, but he eventually did and suggested that I do rhythmic gymnastics, as he thought it would be easier for me. And that everyone, is how I discovered Rhythmic gymnastics.
