Teams are Gung Ho during the 2 -3 day training workshops and are all fired up. The next 24 hours is the ICU of training. What happens when they go back to their desks? Why is it that the fire stops and the pot stops boiling?
Why do some great programs, tools and initiatives fizzle out?
Tiny Habits? Certified Coach, Facilitator, Speaker | Helping individuals and organizations achieve lasting transformation through habit formation
11 个月True, Dr Gupta. I've seen this first hand and it was one of the problems I was looking for an answer to. On reading and exploring, similar to what you've said - I found that one good way to make learning stick is by helping participants create habits. I've tried it for programs that I facilitate through the Tiny Habits Challenge, it works well. Participants have been able to apply their key learning and create related habits. This has had a positive impact on leadership, productivity, well-being to name a few indicators. Goes without saying that we shouldn't try to 'habitize' everything cos then we'd be like robots.
