Apprenticeship Open Event ??

The College is delighted to be hosting an Apprenticeship Open Event on Wednesday 5 June, 3.30pm - 7.30pm!

The event is a perfect opportunity to learn more about our award-winning apprenticeship provision, meet local employers, find vacancies and get career/apprenticeship support. ??

Our apprenticeship open event will take place at Tycoch Campus and is for people of any age - whether you are fresh out of school, seeking an alternative to traditional higher education or looking to upskill in your current job.

Are you looking to retrain or upskill?

If you're 19 and above, and living or working in Swansea, you're in luck! ??

You could access a range of courses for free through our Skills for Swansea project, such as digital skills, customer service, facilities management and more!

Fully funded training for businesses

Gower College Swansea is committed to providing customised training solutions for businesses, with a focus on upskilling workforces and developing growth opportunities.

We're offering a number of fully funded* courses set to start at the end of May, including:

?? Information, advice and guidance/customer service

?? Facilities management

?? Sustainable resource management

?? Digital and business administration

Flexible training is available, where learners will study nationally recognised qualifications or a tailored programme relevant to the workplace.

*to qualify for free funding, participants must be signed up by 31 May

British Training Awards 2024

Gower College Swansea is delighted to announce that it has been named as a Finalist in the British Training Awards 2024.

The awards celebrate the organisations and individuals that are truly passionate about the role of learning and development in building a thriving workforce.

Finalists in the UK Apprenticeship Provider of the Year category, Gower College Swansea has once again been commended for its commitment in creating supportive and accessible Apprenticeships for All, and was commended for its proactive approach to supporting apprentices with disabilities and additional learning needs.

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in London on 19 June. Find out more here.
