GETTING SMART ABOUT ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Thursday 8 February, Glasgow
Artificial Intelligence is set to ‘revolutionise’ workplaces across the UK, bringing $15.7 million to the global economy and replacing up to 30% of jobs. But what does artificial intelligence actually mean to marketers? Just how far will AI impact our daily lives? And when does this progression start to become a hindrance and are experts like Stephen Hawking and Elon Musk going too far when they suggest it’s the ‘biggest threat’ mankind faces?
During this 2 hour session, we will explore the risks, opportunities and facts surrounding the AI revolution – and why brands and individuals need to master the machine, before it masters them. After all, the AI revolution isn't coming, it's already here.
Speakers:
Melissa Rynn, Digital Innovations and Insights Director, WIRE
Melissa will talk through the AI reality and explains why there’s no time to play dumb. She will examine the challenges and opportunities for brands, marketers and society in general.
This event is free for members of The Marketing Society Scotland or at a nominal price for non-members. Join us at the offices of Whyte & Mackay on St Vincent Street, Glasgow on February 8 from 4pm – 6pm. You can register for this event here.
