Training - IOM3 Certificate in Management
The IOM3 Certificate in Management has been purposefully themed and structured to meet the management training needs of the member in or about to take up their first management/supervisory position, with the flexibility to study through a one-day short course format. Six one-day short courses will be hosted during the course of a year. The Certificate in Management will be awarded on successful completion of the two mandatory courses in addition to two of the remaining four courses. Alternatively the courses can be studied as one-offs or in smaller combinations.
The short courses being hosted are:
- Management skills: Performance management foundation (mandatory for the Certificate)
- Management skills: Beyond the basics (mandatory for the Certificate)
- Finance for non-finance managers
- Project management fast track
- Essential HR for non HR managers
- Effective change management
Course fees
Each one-day short course costs ￡400, which is inclusive of all learning materials and refreshment including lunch.
Paid up members of IOM3 at any grade are eligible for a discount of 15% or saving of ￡60 per short course. This represents a saving of ￡240 for those completing the Certificate.
Course location
All of the short courses will be delivered at the IOM3 Training Centre in Grantham. The site is located 1 mile from the A1 and has ample free parking onsite.
Course accreditation
Each of the short courses and the Certificate in Management is quality assured by the PIABC awarding body and approved by IOM3 for the purposes of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
