Training and Internship at Oeson

In today’s data-driven and AI-powered world, I was eager to enhance my technical skills and gain practical experience in a professional environment. Balancing a full-time job and caring for a toddler, my passion for continuous learning motivated me to take on this challenge. Joining Oeson Learning as an intern has proven to be an exceptional and fulfilling journey.

This internship provided me with the opportunity to work on meaningful projects, address real-world problems, and benefit from the expertise of an experienced mentor. It effectively bridged the gap between academic learning and practical application. Through various projects, I built a solid foundation in data analysis, predictive modelling, and data visualization. Each project encouraged me to think critically, adapt to new tools, and deliver insights that directly supported business strategies.

The experience not only taught me to navigate challenges such as working with large datasets but also collaborating remotely with a diverse team. The internship provided a comprehensive introduction to critical tools and concepts in data analytics and business intelligence. The internship program covered Advanced Excel, Statistics, Python, Tableau, and SQL.

• Sales Analysis with Advanced Excel: I developed advanced skills in Excel by creating dynamic dashboards, utilizing complex formulas, and conducting exploratory data analysis. These tools demonstrated the critical role Excel plays in making data-driven decisions.
• Stock Performance Evaluation through Statistics: This module honed my ability to uncover data trends and apply statistical methods to solve real-world problems. By analysing market data, I evaluated stock performance using predictive techniques such as regression analysis, generating actionable insights.
• Credit Risk Prediction with Python: Python became an invaluable tool for automating processes, performing data analysis, and crafting visualizations, enhancing productivity and insight generation. I built machine learning models to predict customer creditworthiness, leveraging libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn for efficient data manipulation and modelling.
• Regional Sales Analysis with Tableau: Tableau introduced me to the art of data storytelling through visually compelling dashboards. I created interactive dashboards to assess regional sales performance, leveraging advanced visualization tools to inform strategic decisions.
• RSVP Movies Case Study Using SQL: Mastering SQL enabled me to efficiently retrieve and manage databases, a vital skill in the data-driven industry. I designed and executed complex queries to analyse organizational data, providing insights into global expansion strategies and improving ETL capabilities.

Each module was meticulously designed with students' needs in mind, including beginners like me who had limited prior knowledge of data analysis.
