Training Hacks: Tips to become a good trainer

Parents train children to become a good human, teachers train students to become a responsible citizen and coaches train people to live life to the fullest.
Training by google is defined as:
An action of teaching a person or animal a particular skill or type of behavior.
Talking of business, training department becomes pivotal where direct contact with customer is involved. Which usually happens in retail industry. I have come across few crucial aspects of training which I believe are important to make training successful and results can be identified easily. Let's discuss them one by one:
- Keep it simple and short: Training should be kept simple and in accordance with the psychological level of the trainee. For trainee to understand the concepts, theories and ideas, it should be explained in the simplest way possible. For which you have to
- Make training module in advance: It's always advisable to be ready well in advance. It is recommended to make training module prior to the date of training, as it will give you enough time to make necessary changes and check it's effectiveness. which brings me to my next point. Which is to
- Include ice-breaking exercises: Since no body likes the concept of classroom study, make sure you include some ice breaking exercises to indulge trainees into the training. And make sure you design these exercises in accordance with the available space and time. Going on to the next point, I would like to bring your attention to
- Engagement: To make the training effective, trainees should should be fully involved in the class. And best way to do that is to constantly ask them questions, share your experience, ask them about their experiences and maintain two sided conversation. Which reminds me, make sure that you
- Take a feedback: There is always scope of improvement and make sure you positively take the feedback after the session. You can always try and implement the suggestion in your next training session. With this we come towards the end of the training, which should include
- Test: Always prepare few questions related to the key points of training and take test in the last to check how much trainee is able to retain. It will help you to guide them better and you will get to know your weak areas, which calls for improvement or improvisation.
