Training Fodder... solving pumping problems in the real world....

There's an old adage.. "you can't teach what you haven't experienced".

After a very successful IAL Conference in Sydney this week, I was on site today with a client on the Hawkesbury River.

He has just purchased 3 lateral moves to replace his big guns and expecting all the LM's to run simultaneously from his existing pump off the Hawkesbury. When it finally proved obvious to him that his pumping system wasn't going to cope with even two LM's at a time, he was expecting to have to pay another $50k for an upgraded pumping system.

I spent today going through a pump and pipeline audit and resolved the client's issue. Now, the pump configuration in the pic may not look too pretty, but I was able to optimise this system to where my client could use his existing pumping system with some modifications and save himself $45,000 on a replacement pumping system.

Experiences and successes like these create the fodder that contributes towards meaningful training of pumping and hydraulics for irrigation.

Enrol today in the next "Pumping System Master Class" at Brown Brothers, Christchurch, NZ, on July 10th and benefit from my 50+ years of pumping and pipeline auditing.
