Training on e-tech platform

A comprehensive 4-modules, hands-on training, on the e-tech platform, was given, during the weeks of February 5th & 12th, to our Marketing & Solutions Team of India / West Asia & Africa. The participants ranged from 9 to 14 colleagues The modules (of 1 hour each) were:

·???????? February 7th: e-tech overview (14 people)

·???????? February 8th: Slag Optimization: Single & Multiple Heats (13 people). This is an application focused on the assessment of ladle slags, providing recommendations for optimizing them, to be compatible with the refractory lining and enhance desulphurization properties. With this tool is possible to evaluate a single heat or many heats (with a single click).

·???????? February 9th: Quick Foam (9 people). This tool allows the assessment of EAF slags, aiming for the best saturation in CaO/MgO, looking for compatibility with the refractory lining and the optimal foaming properties (crucial for the efficient operation of HP and UHP EAF). It generates the corresponding ISD (Isothermal Stability Diagram), which immediately gives a good approach to the slag condition.

·???????? February 14th: Stainless Mass Balance (13 people). This tool address thoroughly the AOD operation, in all stages: decarburization, reduction and desulphurization. Good to remember that 76 % of the stainless steel produced worldwide is through the AOD process.

This training was organized by @Bruna Maia (TE&S Digitalization 4.0 Professional). The hands-on exercises for the 2nd & 3rd module were done by @Venkata Chowdary (OSS NINL Jaipur Orissa Expert).
