Training Dynamo - Online Training, DynamicsCon, DUG, DCI, DAC, GPUG, WWMSTUG and More....

The last few months have been a little bit crazy!

If you don't have much time to read, just watch this video to see a sneak preview of my new online Microsoft Dynamics GP training powered by DUG Skill-Up! I am finishing up the Payables Management classes this week so they will be up soon! Next, I will be working on GL/Financials. Let me know what you think!

I have been busy getting ready for DynamicsCon. If you haven't registered yet, what are you waiting for???? It's free! They added a track for Microsoft Dynamics GP #MSDynGP. I am presenting on Tuesday, March 16th at 2:00 PM Eastern. Go to: dynamicscon.com to sign-up.

I been more and more active with the folks at the Dynamics User Group (aka DUG). They are the company that hosts DynamicsCon. If you've never heard of DUG...here is a little info from their "About Page":

DUG was founded in 1995 as an independent user group focused on supporting the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly NAV/Navision) community. Since then the user group has grown into including additional resources for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O (formerly AX/Axapta), Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE (formerly Dynamics CRM), Microsoft Power Platform (BI, Apps, & Automate), and Dynamics GP (formerly Great Plains).

You can also read about "Who Owns DUG" and how it operates. I was asked if DynamicsCon was the same as Dynamics Consulting. The simple answer is no. There are some Dynamics Consulting employees that are active with DUG and DynamicsCon, but that is a separate company. You can confirm that it is a whole other entity by checking out the Sponsor page for DynamicsCon. There are several "competitors" to Dynamics Consulting listed. (FWIW: DynamicsCon is a play on Comic-Con not Dynamics Consulting)

I wanted to give an update on other events and User Groups. As you may know, I have been very active with Dynamics Communities (DCI) and GPUG for many years. They recently launched a new site called DAC (Decision Acceleration Community). I had the privilege of being interviewed by Aaron Back recently about all things GP and Training! Here is a link to the interview.

I am working on a session for another virtual event for WWMSTUG. The Worldwide Microsoft Technology User Group is a comprehensive, virtual event bringing attendees over 60 educational & promotional sessions across more than a dozen Microsoft technologies. Bob McAdam (formerly from DCI/GPUG) is working with this event and called and asked me to be a speaker! (how could I say no??)

There are a lot of User Groups out there right now! I think it is proof that we all want to be a part of a community so that we can help each other! That is why I keep saying "yes" when they call!

Last but not least, I wanted to make sure you know that I am working with Dexpro Dynamics to provide GP Bootcamps and Webinars. Checkout their website for more information: dexprodynamics.com

I am really grateful for the opportunity to keep busy doing what I love! So, if you get to the bottom of this article...THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
