Training & Onboarding Coordinator (Job# 2023-12)
Essential Functions of the Job:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to coordinating and facilitating training and onboarding activities for SCLSNJ staff; updating and maintaining training documentation and preparing reports as needed; developing and presenting training modules and materials for staff; providing administrative support for HR and SCLSNJ Administration as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; some college or relevant coursework in education, training, or related field;? two years of related customer service or library experience, or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities; experience using Canva or other publishing software strongly preferred; experience coordinating speakers, presenters, and/or events; proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new software as required; excellent organizational skills; reliable transportation to attend and/or present training to staff, attend meetings, or other assigned duties assigned at other branches or off-site locations as required.
Preferences: Training Certification
Physical Demands:
Reading materials and providing verbal assistance to library users in English; manual dexterity to handle books, software, and a variety of other media formats; intermittent sitting, standing, and walking; occasional bending, reaching, and stooping; lifting and carrying items weighing up to 20 lbs.; pushing or pulling objects weighing up to 100 lbs.; distinguishing sounds at various frequencies and volumes; distance vision sufficient to distinguish people or objects under a variety of light conditions; vision sufficient to view computer screens and spine labels under a variety of light conditions.
