Marketing is tasked with research, brand positioning, graphic design, website development, sales enablement and support, lead generation, and more — but it’s typically judged ONLY for its ability to create leads that generate new revenue. Yet marketers don't close deals. Sales people do. Think about that for a minute.
In order for B2B marketing to have a bigger impact on business growth (revenue), it has to adopt a more holistic mindset. It needs to get more involved with both sales and customer success — from the start. After all, if you want your business to grow, you need to look at the big picture and the full end-to-end revenue cycle.?
