TRADING WEEK NOV11TH-NOV15TH

Last week might have set the record for SPY intraday trading ranges (4.61,3.82, 6.52, 3.65 and 3.47) in relation to the weekly hi-lo (31.75). The difference between Tuesday's close (567.89) and Wednesday's opening (589.20) accounted for most of it. That was the reaction to the election. The 2017 Tax Reform Act was set to expire and Trump's re-election along with a GOP Congress assured that it will live on. I should have bought the straddle last week, regardless of its cost. I did buy the SPY 15Nov24 599 straddle for 7.00. CPI comes out at 8:30am ET on the 13th, followed twenty-four hours later by PPI. That should shake things up a little. On the 12th HD releases earnings before the opening with OXY releasing after the close. CSCO releases earnings after the close on the 13th. DIS releases before the opening on the 14th, with AMAT releasing after the close. BABA finishes out the week by releasing before the opening on the 15th.
