My chart of the month
The IBC trade show and exhibition event returned in 2022 after an enforced two-year break due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Last year was notably muted, and at the most recent edition there were murmurings that "IBC is back". Perhaps. Attracting more than 43,000 industry professionals to your conference is quite some feat. But, things have changed since the heydays of the late 2010s — the media landscape is much more software based, Covid accelerated the shift to the cloud, and product launches don't just take place a couple of times a year. IBC is back, but it's different.
