Trade Marks Agent Examination, 2015 announced

Who can apply?

Citizen of India having completed 21 years of age and being a graduate of any university (recognized by UGC) in India or possessing an equivalent qualification and who is not subject to any of the disqualification stated in clause (i) – (vi) of the rule 151 of the Trade Marks Rules, can apply. (See Annexure II)

How to Apply:

Applications should be made on Form TMA-1 (Annexure III) given in Schedule II of the Trade Marks Rules, 2002. Applications in triplicate along with the prescribed fee of Rs. 1000/- should reach appropriate office of the Trade Marks Registry {within whose jurisdiction (see Annexure IV) the principal place of business of the applicant is situated} on or before 07/09/2015. Fee should be paid in cash or by Bank Draft issued by a Scheduled Bank at the place where the appropriate office of the Trade Marks Registry is situated. Bank Draft shall be in favour of “The Registrar of Trade Marks” and payable at the place where the appropriate office of the Trade Marks Registry is situated. Eligible candidates will be called for the written examination and interview (see Annexure I) which will be held at the Trade Mark Registry, Mumbai. List of Eligible candidates and the date of written examination and interview will be posted on official website on or before 11/09/2015.
