As a key member of the Marketing Team in Singapore, the successful candidate will assist the Go-to-Market manager in managing and executing trade marketing activities for appliances retail
Key objectives: Develop and execute best in class marketing activations and maintain in store excellence
Responsibilities:
- Implement end-to-end marketing plans to drive business growth and increase market share
- Carry out regular benchmarking updates to monitor competitors/market performance and identify opportunities for sales growth
- Work closely with branding, sales and promoter teams to ensure smooth execution of go to market plans
- Manage vendor relationships (media/ design agencies, copywriters, event organizers, Lazmall, gift redemption, contractors etc) to facilitate quick turnaround of GTM activity implementations
- Maintain instore excellence which includes:
- Develop quality, attractive POSMs to educate consumers about offerings and aid in driving sales
- Prepare and execute new product launch POSMs and go to market plans/ promotions in a timely fashion
- Close monitoring of displays and concept corners (with fast turnaround for any maintenance required)
- Work closely with brand team on sourcing innovative, attractive premiums to entice customers to purchase products
- Monitor premium inventory to ensure sufficient premiums for multiple GTM promotions
- Communicate with advertising or media agencies to monitor the delivery of production
- Monitor stocks in online channels to avoid OOS situations
- Work closely with sales teams to customise to individual retailer POSM requirements and leverage marketing tools to maximize sales impact
Job Requirements:
- Degree holder in marketing or business disciplines
- Minimum 3 years marketing experience, preferably with a strong grasp of trade marketing activities in Consumer Electronics industry
- Ability to take ownership and independently manage marketing initiatives from start to end
- Proven track record and expertise in integrated marcomms including collateral development, copywriting, event management, video production
- A good eye for design and the ability to create eye-catching content
- Detail oriented
- Strong negotiation and relationship building skills
- Good project management and time management
- Highly flexible and able to thrive under tight deadlines
