Let’s be honest, getting traction for your company isn’t easy. As a startup, you need resources, a strong team, and growth strategies that are industry specific to make it in today’s competitive market. Sounds challenging, doesn’t it?
These challenges are felt by startups across the country, who don’t have the education or training to successfully navigate these complicated waters. Fortunately, there’s Traction conference.
Returning June 22nd and 23rd, 2016 to Vancouver, BC, Traction teaches startups distribution strategies and tactics for acquiring explosive growth. Since last year’s sold out event, the conference has grown from a one-day to a two-day experience and has a variety of speakers scheduled, from The Honest Company to Y Combinator.
Our speaker’s list is very targeted; we only invite influential names from the fastest growing companies who can discuss things like content marketing, analytics, monetization, and problem-solving. It’s a world-class roster of speakers.
The way Traction organizes its speakers is also quite unique. Rather than have one to two-hour presentations, we host rapid-fire 15–20 minutes talks. Last year we found that attendees would stay engaged throughout these presentations because they didn’t want to miss important information. So keep in mind that if you attend this conference, you will be taking a lot of notes very quickly.
One of the reasons Traction came to be is due to the lack of access to the knowledge needed to gain traction and scale a business. Not every entrepreneur can afford to move to Silicon Valley to grow their network and learn from the best, and cities like Toronto and Vancouver don’t have the ecosystems (yet) to support that kind of education.
Traction is working to fix this. It provides actionable education that young companies can bring from the conference to their workplace immediately. The content and education we provide are strong and usable, allowing for more startups to grow and get traction. The educational aspect of this conference should not be underrated, what’s happening on stage is the primary focus of Traction?—?unlike most conferences, networking is secondary.
Tickets are selling fast for this year’s Traction conference?—?they are already 50% sold out. If you’re a NACO member and would like to register for this event, use promo code NACO10.
