REMINDER; DIAL *#06#
Couples of days ago, a friend was robbed of his valuables including his expensive mobile phone.
Unfortunately, he did not COPY his PHONE IMEI number and keep it safely.
The email attached to his phone has been removed. That phone will be difficult to track with an IMEI NUMBER.
COPY your phone IMEI and store it in a diary and keep at home or upload it your GDrive cloud storage and ensure your GMail password is not stored in your phone book?
.
To further strengthen the security of your phone, activate FIND ME feature and link it to your Gmail and enable Screen lock with a PIN on your phone.
Should your phone be stolen, security agencies only need the IMEI number to track it once another SIM is inserted into the phone.
Note; even if the phone is formatted or its contents wiped out completely, it can be tracked, except if it is not newer series phone where a software can change the IMEI.
