TPC 3D: Expanding TPACK to Address Beliefs and Practices
TPACK
Many of you are familiar with the TPACK framework developed by Mishra & Kohler. If you aren't, here is an excellent synopsis by Dr. Kohler.
TPC 3D
In 2009 I was inspired by the work of Peggy Ertmer to create an expansion of the TPACK framework by adding a layer for practices (TPCP) and a layer for beliefs (TPCB). To date I have focused on using TPC 3D and some associated instructional tools for a very specific instructional context: the resources used by SME/Fs (Subject Matter Expert/Facilitators) to develop and deliver online courses via a LMS (Learning Management System) in higher education.
Your Take
Would TPC 3D be useful for you? Let's start a dialogue in the comments section. Please provide a brief description of your instructional context and share why TPC 3D would or wouldn't be useful for you.

9 年Beautiful graphics, George. I remember seeing some of your earlier prototypes of these ideas several years ago, and I really like how you have refined your ideas. Great work, my friend!
