Toxic Relationship
Today, I came across the emotional comments made by actor Bala. It’s deeply saddening to see a man behave this way toward a woman, especially with negative people around him supporting such behavior against a single mother. Only someone who has experienced life as a single mother can truly understand the struggles—it’s far from easy to live life alone and raise a child.
AmrithaSuresh, she must now move forward for her survival and focus on her daughter’s future. Men like Gopi Sunder and Bala don’t seem to respect women. They only engage in character assassination and care about their own happiness. How can someone talk about "his blood" when referring to a child? If he truly valued that, he would have first loved his wife, because it is through her that his child came into the world.
A woman who is alone faces immense trauma, insults, and false gossip without any support. She may appear rude or like a fighter, but that's because of the constant negativity she has to endure. Even the people around her may insult or demotivate her with harsh words.
I remember hearing cruel things during my own journey as a single mother. Some people would say hurtful things like
:"A fish that jumps will end up in a pot."
"She will suffer from the poisonous seeds she nurtured."
"She’ll be waiting by the porch of her own home for a simple meal.

Such comments are deeply painful, especially for a woman who is under 30, struggling to find her footing. I still remember the strong and bold words of former Women's Commissioner, Adv. Pramela Nisargi from Bangalore. She said that only toxic and jealous people speak about others' failures or successes, without even being aware of where their own lives are headed or what they are doing for their own spouse. These types of people exist everywhere.
We must stay focused on our own lives, careers, and responsibilities, and not waste our time on their manipulations or false predictions. Surrounding ourselves with fake love will only lead to more pain.Yes, people who are self-centered cannot truly love anyone else. Being a biological parent is not enough to make someone a father. Both parents must share responsibility and work together for their child. If one can’t do that, it’s better to distance ourselves from them and let them live their own lives. Both partners will face trauma, especially in cases of second marriages, where the second husband may struggle to accept the child from the first marriage.
The woman will sacrifice much of her needs, love, support, and care in these situations. Divorce becomes inevitable when two people can no longer live together. When it comes to children, it's often better for them to be with just one parent—either the mother or father—rather than being caught in the middle of constant conflict.
Single parenting, despite its challenges, may be far healthier for a child's well-being than being exposed to their parents' ongoing battles. Sadly, many children suffer emotionally because of the tension between their parents. Often, the father only talks about his own virtues while pointing out all the mother's flaws, driven by his own selfish need to protect his image or 'bloodline.' On the other hand, the mother might focus on her sacrifices and paint the father in a bad light. In the end, the children are left confused, growing to resent both parents, which can deeply affect their future relationships and even their marriages.
Look at Bala, for example. He divorced Amrutha Suresh and remarried, but he spends more time showcasing his love on social media than genuinely loving his new wife. His guilt and selfishness show when he prioritizes his 'own blood' over everything. But life doesn’t work like that—his daughter will grow up, marry into another family, and live her own need to understand that a wife is the one who stands by them throughout their life—cooking, loving, and tolerating their good and bad sides. A man should deeply reflect on the respect and value of a woman before entering into marriage. It’s not just about love; it’s about partnership, respect, and understanding. I truly understand
Amritha’s situation. The court’s decision in this case is an important lesson for society.
