Townish Update - May 2024

Patio season is open, summer is around the corner, and there are some very exciting developments at Townish!

??? Product Updates:

We launched our new website! Our old website didn’t do a good job of explaining our vision, which is to bring teams together in an intentional way, building strong and motivated teams. Our new website begins to show just that! It features Experiences - full event packages that were so successful with our clients that we decided to offer them to everyone. Whether it's a product development workshop, a summer camp for adults, or a team offsite in the woods, we've got you covered.

Additionally, we’re now available in more areas, including Toronto, NYC, Boston, Philadelphia, Montreal, Ottawa, and more.

?? What’s Planned for This Month:

We’re working on the automation of our marketplace. The first step is allowing our partners to onboard themselves and control their bookings. This is coming soon!

In the near future, our main services for team gatherings will be live on the website, including workshops, speakers, team-building activities, venues, and accommodations. Stay tuned for more updates!

?? New Partners:

We’ve started working with the amazing team at Staples Studio to hold events at their venues in Ontario. In fact, we’ve already had two events with them this month.

• AI and Travel Industry panel: We hosted Max Tremaine, founder & CEO of Sherpa, Dan Christian, Founder of Travel Trends Podcast, and Casie Stewart, a blogger, entrepreneur, and travel influencer.

• Future of Work event: Held at the lovely patio of Staples Studio Corktown, where Roy, our founder, shared his journey and the role he sees for Townish in the future of work.

???Office as a Service:

A common theme in discussions with our customers is the need to replace the office with a recurring gatherings plan. Imagine not having an office but meeting your team on a monthly basis with something like 4 daily meetings in the city, 4 team-building activities, 2 workshops, and one longer retreat, all planned in a team calendar for the next year.

If you’re considering getting rid of your office lease and need alternative options, or work remotely but want to meet your team more frequently, we’d love to hear from you!
