Town of Collierville unveils new logo, reflecting a modern vision for the future

The Town of Collierville is pleased to announce the launch of its first logo, a visual representation of the Town's rich history and vibrant community spirit.

The new logo, crafted in collaboration with local designer, Cameron Spann , symbolizes the essence of Collierville as a community that honors its heritage while embracing innovation. The modern design incorporates distinctive elements that pay homage to the Town seal, which will still be used as the official symbol of the Town of Collierville.

Mayor Stan Joyner expressed his enthusiasm about the design, stating, "The new logo captures the essence of our Town, embodying the values that make Collierville unique. As we move forward into the future, this logo will serve as a unifying symbol for our community, representing our shared vision and aspirations."

Key features of the Town logo:

• Iconic Imagery: The gazebo makes up most of the design as an iconic landmark in the heart of our Town Square and connects to the focal point of the Town seal. The shape of the arch around the gazebo represents the iconic gothic style windows of the Morton Museum of Collierville History, looking at the past while providing a window of opportunity into the future.
• Dynamic Colors: A carefully selected color palette reflects the energy and diversity of the community. With green as the primary color for the logo, the Town has adopted a broader color scheme for more versatility including gold, black, and maroon. All Town employees submitted names for the colors and voted on their favorites; the green shown above is “Water Tower”.
• Timeless Typography: The use of clean and contemporary typography enhances readability and ensures the logo's adaptability across various applications from print to digital platforms.
• Symbolic Motifs: The design features symbolic motifs that represent Collierville's commitment to community. The landscaping in the corners represents the Town's dedication to improving residents' quality of life with our parks and green spaces. As a surprise element, there is a hidden "C" on the roof of the gazebo that stands for Collierville.
