Towards Future (TF) is a #nonprofitorganization based in #kolkata, #india. Over the past 14 years, Towards Future has been working in the field of #childeducation, #childprotection and #womenempowerment. Their #mission is to bring about qualitative changes in the lives of women and children. Their #vision is to enable these children and women to #transition into becoming independent selves and also spread education in the lives of future generations.?

This organization endeavors to reach out to those children who are suffering from #learning gaps and #protection threats due to their #socioeconomic condition and promote their educational and protection rights. TF also strives to promote women's empowerment, to let women exercise their #basic rights with proper information and #knowledge that can #secure their life in a safe environment.

During our conversation with Ms. Supriya Roy Chowdhury, Secretary of Towards Future, we came to know about the various projects they are working on in detail. She explained how TF nurtures #skillsdevelopment programmes, to make these young children self reliant, and help them get #connected with other #organizations who are working in this field. Their #strategy to engage #communities in different states and take advantage of the various central #government schemes, that are available, makes their programmes #sustainable and #successful. She #believes that even though the #covid19pandemic had thrown a curveball at them but she and her #dedicatedteam accepted the #challenge and were able to continue their work successfully.?
