Toward the Goal
“Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do; forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus”(Philippians 3: 13-14)
The Brick: At some point, I lost track of the right motive towards my work and it became boring and wearisome. I realized that my reason for working drifted towards establishing status, acquiring material possessions and proving myself to others and this affected my approach to work because my focus on these external metrics drained my energy when the results I sought were delayed. I noticed that I was not at home with myself, that something was definitely out of line and today I share with you the insights I received from God’s word about work.

Knowing fully well that I will not live forever in this temple here on earth, I strive forward to answer the calling and purpose of my Creator today and the rest of my days. I work to manifest the grace of God upon my life.

Inspired Quote of today:?
"Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do? what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking"
