Continuity

Each day, each effort need not be perfect. In fact, it will not be. ?

This TOVO Tuesday marks my 200th publication. Believe me when I say that not all were brilliant and many only represented my will to maintain a streak. There are days when I am chomping at the bit to express an idea for sure. There are also days where motivation is elusive at best.? ?

It is so with many endeavors. Your endeavors. Coaching can be taxing. Parenting is exhausting. Training tiring. ?

Continuity. ?

And yet, you are there. You show up to run that next session. You drive your child to that next match. You train in the rain. You gather the energy because the alternative is not an option. There is no need for perfection when persistence will do. And that is you personified. ?

Today, I celebrate continuity. Just doing what we do repeatedly hoping that coherency emerges from the effort. Maybe, just maybe it matters to another. A word spoken. A letter written. A message delivered. A high-five, hug or handshake at the right moment.

Continuity. ?

May you enjoy your day today and if it is not the best of days, live it as well. We can find perfection tomorrow. Today, we keep the streak alive.
