Tourism Industry - Turn out this COVID-19 as Possibility to re-define a new us.

Yes it's so true that COVID-19 came with lot of disturbance to various sectors but Tourism/Hospitality domain is one of the worst effected so far with no guests or zero occupancy it's hard for big brands to sustain their basics but still their is a hope and everything will be better very soon.

We all are going towards "New Normal" for me it's not normal but it's the redefine way to show the care towards our guest & associates.Everything with a new start & high standards will help us to grow on longer way and proper training of employees is must during this transformation period.

According to my research for hospitality providers they can follow this setup programme to enhance their services in broader way towards "New Normal". During this transition process do not forget to provide each employee with a clear communication because they are going to play a vital role and off course to avoid any unnecessary actions.Please check out various steps to find out more about some areas of possibility to re-define.

Digital Check-in/out -----

Digital check-in, pre arrival registration & key collection upon arrival + Digital check-out, setting bill via online payment, TAP method (for Contact less payment) + In House Digital Application + Smart guest service technology for booking excursion trips, fishing, food & beverage orders, booking activity or a chat with team member in real time on your smartphone leads to personal service by assigning a guest host to specific group or single guest.

Safe Business Standards-----

Fam Trips, Tour Operators, Suppliers, transportation and service providers must comply with set standards of resort/hotel + Disinfecting high touch surfaces, wearing a face mask and obtaining a good health certificate is required.

Arrival-----

Handshake-less warm greetings + Sterilizing key cards and stationary in Ultra Violet C Cabinet + Routine Health Checkups of guest & staff members with mandate safety gears while on duty.

Receiving Procedures-----

Guest Luggage and third party deliveries should be disinfected on arrival with proper segregation.

Public Areas------

Copper Sterilization Film is applied to elevator buttons, doors handles and other high touch surfaces + Hi-touch areas to be listed out for better precautions.

Guest Rooms-----

Breathing Room- cleaned rooms are sealed for 24 hours before re-allocation + Cleaning and disinfection procedures in compliance with international safety compliance + Use Air Purifier Machines for air cleanliness.

Gym & Recreation-----

Physical distancing is practiced when using gym equipment + Everyday record health checks of guest entering  in premises + If possible In-Room Workout Kit should be provided.

Dinning-----

Spaced –out seating + Digital Menus + A la minute menu focusing on freshness and zero waste + In Villa Dinning options should be encouraged among guests + Enhanced sanitation at dinning area and kitchen. Additional protective equipment for the culinary & food service team.
