Tour de Push Up - Raising money for the Brain Cancer Foundation, Starlight Children's Foundation & StreetWork
It has taken me almost 12 months to recover after completing the challenge in 2015, but I am "pushing" through and doing it again to raise money for 3 fantastic charities.
This year, I am raising money towards 3 charities - Brain Cancer Foundation, Starlight Children's Foundation & StreetWork. StreetWork is a new addition and is a Sydney based charity dedicated to helping "at risk" young people aged between 11-18 to get their lives on track.
Same deal as last year, I will need to complete a push up for every km of the ride in the Tour de France, commencing 2 July. For those who are not familiar with the 2016 race plan, the Tour covers 3,535 kilometres over 21 stages. One day the cyclists will travel 232 kilometres which means I will need to complete 232 push ups in one day!
If you want to show your support, you can follow the link below and make a tax deductible donation. I am aiming to raise more money than last year and have set myself a target of $2,000 so every dollar counts and goes towards 3 charities that aim to improve the lives of people and families in need.
